Vieles an der Geschichte gefällt mir richtig gut: Steves Versetzung, seine Reaktion darauf, den moralischen Konflikt um seine Arbeit und schließlich wie er von MacLean überzeugt wird. Das Setting ist wunderschön (im Moor an der Küste, was könnte es Besseres geben!!) und Kens tragisches Schicksal ist einfach herzzerreißend. Das Leben nach dem Tod, Hypnose, Telepathie und der sechste Sinn hingegen sind alles Themen die mich durchaus abholen können, es in der Geschichte hier aber nicht getan haben. Schließlich war es am Ende aber so spannend und gut erzählt, dass es mich doch irgendwie mitgerissen hat.
