Herzerwärmend und witzig zu gleich! Es hat mir wirklich sehr gefallen, dieses Buch als Hörbuch zu hören. Alexis ist mit ihrer introvertierten und anfangs schüchternen Persönlichkeit als Leser/Zuhörer leicht hineinzuversetzen. Im Laufe des Buches darf man aber miterleben, wie sie immer mehr aus sich heraus kommt und als Person wächst. Und das natürlich auch mithilfe von Logan! Als Kandidat für den Texas government seat ist er natürlich eine bekannte Person und natürlich auch von der Presse gejagt. So kommt es natürlich, dass die beiden zusammen gesichtet werden und einen Deal als Fake-Couple eingehen, um einen Skandal zu entkommen... Logan ist so ein Schatz! Er geht immer auf die Wünsche von Alexis ein, hört ihr und ihrer Meinung aufmerksam zu und hat schon immer ihr Potential gesehen. Zusammen helfen sie sich gegenseitig und bringen das beste aus den jeweiligen heraus.

Didn’t expect to love this as much as I did! My expectations were to get a fun and easy read, which this book totally delivered, but it also was so much more. I totally adored the character development of Alexis and the amazing relationship between the main characters. For me one of the best romances I have read this year!
