Ich mochte den Bezug zu Agatha Christie sofort. Die Zitate aus ihren Geschichten an jedem Anfang eines Kapitels haben mir sehr gefallen und haben das Buch für mich besonders gemacht. Bei den Zitaten aus den Büchern, die ich von Agatha Christie kenne, habe ich oft überlegt an welcher Stelle sie vorkamen. Es war eine Geschichte nach meinem Geschmack mit einem wie ich finde sehr coolen Cover. Es gab kein überzogenes Drama, was von der eigentlichen Geschichte abgelenkt hätte und so bin ich durch das Buch sehr schnell durchgekommen. Trotzdem wurden ernstere Themen mit einbezogen und die Charaktere waren ihrem Alter entsprechend gut ausgearbeitet. Das Ende war wie ich finde nicht vorhersehbar, auch wenn ich mir zwischenzeitlich schon recht sicher war wer es nicht war. Ich mag diese Art von Geschichte sehr und kann das Buch empfehlen, vor allem für Fans von Karen McManus und Holly Jackson. Ein sehr schönes Buch <3

I really enjoyed getting to know the two main characters and how they view life and deal with their own problems while solving a crime. It was a recommendation from a fantastic bookstore in Bath, UK and I must say - it’s totally worth it! 🕵🏻♀️🕵🏼♀️
Soo ein gutes Buch!
Ich habe dieses Buch so sehr geliebt. Schon von Anfang an mochte ich die Charaktere, weil sie mir wie reale Menschen vorkamen. Die Schreibstile (das Buch wurde von zwei Autorinnen geschrieben) waren super und ich bin wegen ihnen durch das Buch geflogen. Ich habe z.B. 80 Seiten gelesen, es hat sich aber angefühlt wie 30 Seiten. Zwischendurch war ein Plottwist und und dachte das war es jetzt, aber nein es kamen noch viele weitere, ich war einfach nur geschockt. Das Buch verdient definitiv mehr Hype. Ich bin so froh, dass es eine Reihe ist und ich freue mich richtig auf das nächste Buch der Reihe.
