Description
But every action triggers consequences.
Her older sister comes to drag her back to the palace and the meaningless life she hated. The tea guild won't support her unless she succeeds on her own in their chosen challenge: a tea tournament, and the international politics and unrest that come along with it. And to top it all off, the border protecting the remaining world from the magical disaster zone is suddenly failing.
The path she'd thought was clear is twistier than ever, but armed with her trusty tea set Miyara will fight to keep it.
Tea Set and Match is the second book of the Tea Princess Chronicles, a cozy fantasy series full of magic tea, baby dragons, friendship, and lifting people up even when the odds seem impossible.

Characters: 4/5 Writing Style: 5/5 Plot: 3.5/5 Logic: 4/5 Themes/Intention: 5/5 Spice: 0/5 After the cliffhanger in Book 1, I had to keep reading. I found the themes much more interesting than in the first part! Unfortunately, the tournament didn't take up as much space as I would have liked. Nevertheless, the relationships between the protagonists and side characters continue to develop. The inclusion of non-binary characters is also just beautiful. I especially grew fond of the little spirit. I would recommend this feel-good book to anyone who loves cozy fantasy, political dramas, and tea.
