That was— I don’t know honestly how to describe it. It was stunning, beautiful, frightening, horrific at times, and surprising at the end. I definitely wouldn’t have ever guessed it would turn out the way it did. I might not be completely satisfied with it, but I am truly happy for the characters. I haven’t cried as much I cried for these two books in a while, and it felt really good. I would consider myself as a really emotional person but I actually don’t cry often while reading. So when I do, you should see it as a huge compliment. Even when I mostly cried at people dying, who didn’t deserve it, but the fact that an author can make me cry at these people, screams talent. I also really really loved that gay romance. It came quite unexpected, but I support and ship it a lot!!

This book was a nice read. Frist I was sceptic because I didn’t enjoy the first book that much. But Song of Sorrow was better than expected. Although there was much of politics in it , which I don’t like that much, the books was exiting, funny and thrilling. Most of the characters didn’t appeal to me, which was mainly because I think this group does not fit together. But all in all it was a comfpy read; & I liked that it is a duology , which is a welcome change, instead of reading 3+ book series.
