Erica verunglückt tödlich bei einer Halloweenparty in ihrer Nachbarschaft. Ungefähr ein Jahr später gibt es einen anonymen Podcast, wo der Tod von Erica nochmal aufgewühlt wird und einige Geheimnisse ans Licht gebracht werden. Hört sich spannend an? Oder? Tja was soll ich sagen? Die ersten 3 Bücher waren super gut von der Autorin. Das 4. Buch hatte mich enttäuscht und ich dachte, dieses Buch würde mich wieder positiv überraschen. Leider war es nicht so. Das Buch hatte kurze Kapitel und lässt sich wirklich gut lesen. Inhaltlich ist es für mein Abklatsch von Desperate Housewives für Arme gewesen. Ein behüteter Vorort mit vielen Familien, wo sich doch alle super verstehen um den Anschein zu wahren, aber in Wirklichkeit gibt es viele Lügen, Intrigen und Geheimnisse. Und natürlich werden alle Geheimnisse von Ericas "Freundinnen" aufgedeckt im Laufe der Geschichte. Ist jetzt nichts neues gewesen und hat man schon öfters gelesen oder gesehen. Zum Ende hin wurde es wenigstens noch etwas spannend und man erfährt dann noch etwas was man nicht erwartet hätte. Insgesamt würde icg sagen, dass man es lesen kann, aber man nichts verpassen würde. Das nächste Buch werde ich mir erstmal nicht von ihr holen. 2,5 von 5 Sternen ⭐ ⭐
