Emmy and Grayson get thrown at each other on set of Emmy‘s newest rom-com she not only wrote herself but she‘s also starring the main character. If only there wasn’t this problematic past they‘re sharing… After reading her third book, I can confidently call Falon Ballard a rom-com-queen! Honestly, her writing is brilliant, her characters are swoon-worthy and her stories are so wonderful, I could read five of them in a row. This book is no exception for that and I‘m actually sad it‘s over already. Now I‘m more than looking forward to her christmas story All I Want Is You!

Right on cue ist eine leichte, charmante Romanze und dadurch das perfekte Buch für zwischendurch. Die beiden Protagonisten Emmy und Grayson sind sympathisch und haben eine tolle Chemie sowie witzige Dialoge, die mir sehr gefallen haben. Natürlich gibt es im Buch wieder das klassische Missverständnis, das durch einfache Kommunikation gelöst werden könnte – die Protagonisten machen es sich aber wieder extra schwer. Wen das nicht stört, kann sich auf ein paar spicy Szenen sowie sympathische Protagonisten und Nebencharaktere in einem gemütlichen Weihnachtssetting freuen. Ich gebe dem Ganzen vier von fünf Sternen, weil es einfach eine klassische Rom-Com ist, die genau das liefert, was man erwartet. Die Geschichte hat mir echt Spaß gemacht und ich mochte die Charaktere, aber insgesamt ist sie recht vorhersehbar und hält sich stark an bekannte Muster. Mir hat am Ende ein bisschen das gewisse Etwas gefehlt, das das Buch für mich zu einem echten Highlight gemacht hätte – trotzdem eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die Lust auf eine leichte, romantische Geschichte haben.
