Ich fand We Were Liars wirklich spannend geschrieben. Die Geschichte hat mich schnell gepackt und ließ sich sehr leicht lesen, sodass ich das Buch innerhalb kurzer Zeit verschlungen habe. Besonders das Setting am Meer und am Strand hat mir richtig gut gefallen. Es hat eine besondere, fast schon atmosphärische Stimmung erzeugt. Das Ende kam für mich völlig unerwartet und hat dem Ganzen nochmal eine ganz andere Tiefe gegeben. Genau dieser Überraschungsmoment macht das Buch für mich so besonders. Ich würde es auf jeden Fall allen weiterempfehlen, die gerne etwas Spannung mögen und eine Geschichte suchen, die einen bis zum Schluss fesselt. 🫶🏻

Cadence begins to see that her family is not as perfect as they seem to be.
A beautiful, beautiful book. Fast, exciting emotional: I finished it in a day. The characters and their development are unique and exciting and the story shocks you, plot twist after plot twist. I highly recommend it!

Honestly I didn't really like this book in the beginning, because i found it kinda confusing and also boring. But in the last few chapters OMG. I definitely wasn't expecting that plot twist. I tried guessing the plot, but it was muchhh crazier than I expected it to be.
