Auch hier ist das Englisch wieder etwas für fortgeschrittenere. Hier hat man mehr aus Alexandros und Xaviers POV. Wobei Xavier auf jeden Fall einen Crush auf Alexandros hat. Was immer noch merkwürdig ist, da die drei von Alexandros zwischendurch als Vater denken. Und er sich irgendwie auch als Vater für sie sieht. Von ihm kamen aber diese Vibes nicht wirklich, das er mehr in Xavier sieht. Hier sorgen die vier das Ophelia mehr mit und an ihrer Kraft arbeitet, da gibt es dann ein Spice verbot, weil sie sich nicht Unterkontrolle hat. Ich hätte mir mehr gewünscht das man wirklich liest wie sie an sich arbeitet. Außer ein bisschen lesen und am Ende doch nur rummacht. Bis dann der Punkt kommt, wo wieder alles klar geht. Durch ein paar unschöne Begebenheiten auf dem Campus, wird Ophelias wahres sein vor einigen wenigen offenbart. Man hat hier einen Cliffhanger und ich hoffe es passierte nicht wirklich, was hier angedeutet wird und man weiß nicht wer nun wirklich ein ehrliches Spiel spielst

Promised in Blood 🩷 ---------- ---------- ---------- Ich war nach den ersten Band super gespannt auf den zweiten und bin jetzt umso gespannter auf den dritten Band... Giorgis Verrat hat getroffen aber ich hatte es leider schon befürchtet als die beiden Losgezogen sind nur den Schock auf der aller letzten Seite, hatte ich nicht kommen sehen.. Ich kann es kaum erwarten zu sehen wie sie wieder zueinander finden.. Ich bin sehr gespannt. Fazit: 4/5⭐

This series has me in their Grip and I can't escape. I love Ophelia and the boys so much!!! Axl, Xavier, Malachi and Alexandros all have a special place in my heart! Only issue: The constant Spice🥲 I'm actively skipping Spice at this point cause its just too much! Thats the only reason this isn't a 5 star read. The Spice was nice at the start, but now its just wayyyy too much. Spoilers now!! I hope they're not dead! GIORGIOS HOW COULD YOU!! Nazeel you too?! I hope Ophelia will burn them to the ground🫠 Ophelia get themmm

Promised in Blood picks up right after the chaos of book one and somehow manages to make everything even more dramatic. Ophelia is now fully aware that she’s not just “special,” but prophecy-level, possibly-destroy-the-world special, which is a lot to process when you’re also juggling four emotionally intense vampire mates.  The story revolves around her trying to control her powers (with… mixed success), while keeping her identity hidden and navigating increasingly dangerous supernatural politics. Meanwhile, Alexandros and his trio of vampires oscillate between protective, obsessive, and deeply dramatic, basically acting like immortals who have just discovered feelings for the first time. Now, my 4-star opinion: On the one hand I like the stronger plot, twists, and emotional intensity. On the other hand I really have to complain about Ophelia’s constant emotional spirals and the pacing that occasionally forgets where it’s going.  It’s chaotic, messy, and sometimes unintentionally funny, but also addictive, dramatic, and impossible to stop reading. And that ending? Emotionally violent. I’m still not okay.
