Der Start in das Buch gefiel mir sehr gut. Der Enemies to Lovers Trope wurde zuerst recht gut umgesetzt. Der Leser bekam zusätzlich etwas Gefühl für das Team um die Beiden. Hockey schien auch tatsächlich eine Rolle zu spielen, doch nach der ersten Annäherung fiel die Geschichte etwas in sich zusammen. Es drehte sich dann nur noch um Hotels, Robbie und Ant und zu viel Spice. Es wurde langweilig und es gab wenig Tiefe. In das Ende wurde dann einiges gepresst, was man vielleicht interessant ausschreiben könnte, wenn ein paar Sexszenen nicht stattgefunden hätten.

This was an awesome hockey romance 🏒 Ant and Robbie - Grumpy X Sunshine and „Enemies“ to lovers at it’s finest! 😮💨 This book has such a lot of humour and the side characters are also super sympathetic. The tension and chemistry between Decker and McGuire is sooo good and the spice was amazing (the dirty talk and the pet names 🥵). All those tender moments between Ant and Robbie really make you fall in love with them over and over again! 💞 The development of their relationship is beautiful, starting from their initial hostility to something way stronger 🤭 Definitely a perfect book for a nice read in between 😌
