Anne of Green Gables Die Geschichte von Anne begleitet mich seit meiner Jugend in all ihren Varianten: vom Originalbuch über die Serie aus den 80er Jahren bis hin zur neuesten Netflix-Verfilmung. Als ich bei @netgalley diesen Manga von @Mangaclassics sah, konnte ich einfach nicht widerstehen und bin nicht enttäuscht worden. Die Umsetzung ist so liebevoll und die Figuren so treffend dargestellt, dass das Lesen einfach nur eine große Freude war.
This has been such a cute version to read the story of Anne of Green Gables. I love the book and the story by Lucy M. Montgomery in all the version that already exist, so I was so happy and thankful to get to read this Manga version of it. I loved the drawing style, it reminded me so much of the mangas I've read when I was younger and it just made me happy to read it. Thank you so much for providing this review copy! It is also such a good way to get people into the story of little Anne, because reading a manga is often easier to start than a book. The only thing that I personally didn't like that much were Matthew's eyes, because they were sometimes just pitch-black and that confused me a little, but it was still such a good manga!
