Diese Tür führt sie weg aus ihrer Welt und in die Welt des Markts, wo alles einen fairen Preis hat. Zum ersten Mal hat Lundy das Gefühl, zu Hause zu sein. Doch der Markt hat auch Schattenseiten und so wechselt Lundy immer wieder zwischen den Welten. Ihre Zeit aber läuft ab. Denn wenn sie im Markt bleiben will, muss sie die Entscheidung treffen, bevor sie 18 wird. Lundy ist ein Kind, mit dem ich mich gut identifizieren konnte; ich glaube, in dem Alter hätte der Markt auch meine Welt sein können. Wie schon in den drei Bänden davor schafft McGuire es, mich emotional auf eine zu kurze Reise mitzunehmen. Ich habe definitiv fair value für meine Zeit bekommen.
Es hat bei mir eine Weile gedauert bis ich begriffen habe, dass wir Lundy aus Teil 1 kennen. Die Welt des Goblin Markts hat mir wieder sehr gut gefallen, sowie der wahnsinnig tolle Schreibstil von Seanan McGuire. Leider hatte ich durch die vielen Zeitsprünge Probleme mit ihr mitzufühlen und das Gefühl viel zu verpassen. Deshalb für mich bis jetzt der schwächste Teil der Reihe, aber das Buch gibt einem viel zum Nachdenken.
