Description
Weeks after landing on Earth, the Hundred have managed to create a sense of order amidst their wild, chaotic surroundings. But their delicate balance comes crashing down with the arrival of new dropships from space.

Ahh, this is so difficult to rate again. As in all the other parts of "The 100" series I enjoyed the overall story and the different perspectives but again the level of suspense was just too weak for my taste. Problems were solved too easily and things happened too fast. The relationships felt forced and there was hardly any chemistry. I think this will be the final part of the series. The ending was kind of promising and it felt kind of right to end it at this point. Overall I enjoyed this series but it's definitely lacking in depth and a thrilling suspense level.
Der dritte Band der Reihe ist in vielen Punkten besser als sein Vorgänger, hat aber auch seine Schwächen. Am Auffälligsten dabei ist, dass innerhalb einer Perspektive mehrmals das gleiche Ereignis paraphrasiert wird. Generell passiert in diesem Buch viel mehr und es geht richtig zur Sache. Gerade der Konflikt mit den zusätzlichen Menschen auf der Erde und dass diese sich nun unter die Hundert mischen, sorgt für viel Zündfeuer. Genauso birgt auch die Splittergruppe der Erdmenschen viel Potenzial. Leider wird trotzdem sehr viel von diesem Potenzial verschenkt, denn selten wird etwas erklärt. Niemand redet miteinander. Am Anfang des Romans laufen die Perspektivträger zu den abgestürzten Transportern und fragen nicht, was passiert ist, wundern sich nicht einmal richtig. Stattdessen wissen sie irgendwann einfach, was es mit dem plötzlichen Erscheinen der anderen auf sich hat. Was mit den anderen, die zurückgeblieben sind, passiert ist, wird auch weitestgehend beiseite gekehrt. Besonders sinnlos empfand ich Glass‘ Perspektive in diesem Roman. Im Grunde dreht sich bei ihr alles im Kreis und es bleibt noch zu hoffen, dass ihr Handlungsstrang irgendeinen Sinn hatte. Die Beziehungen wirken in diesem Band fast ein bisschen zu aufgesetzt. Alle sind glücklich und alles ist perfekt. Das ist an sich eine schöne Entwicklung, wirkt aber neben den düsteren Geschehnissen nicht richtig. Und dann überschattet noch ein Todesfall die Ereignisse, der vielleicht noch einmal neuer Zunder sein wird, um Konflikte anzuheizen. Das Ende war an sich eigentlich fast schon gut abgeschlossen. Trotzdem bleiben natürlich noch ein paar Dinge offen, die hoffentlich im vierten Band aufgeklärt werden. Fazit: „Die 100 – Heimkehr“ bietet nach seinem Vorgänger zwar mehr Action und die Konflikte sind überwiegend ausgereift und interessant, es wird sich aber leider viel an unnötigem aufgehangen, wodurch die wirklich guten Szenen in den Hintergrund rücken. Gesamt: 4/5 Inhalt: 4/5 Charaktere: 4/5 Lesespaß: 3/5 Schreibstil: 4/5
Since I read a review on how it's like the fanfiction of The 100 TV show, I can't stop thinking about it, because it's so right? The book is so lovey-dovey and not as focused on what's going on on planet Earth, I sometimes ask myself why I even continue reading this books. Mostly because I wanna know how Kass plays around with the idea of The 100 since I gave up on the TV show a while ago. 'Homecoming' is my favorite The 100 book so far since it seems settled. The characters have arrived, we know far more about the main ones and action is going on. Still, it's so slow. Three books in and a month has passed. This is making me wonder how many books will come? Is it going to be a House of Night kind of series (please not) where everything happens so slow? Or is it going to be a book where we get an insight of the first 1-3 months (or so) and then are set off to play around with our imagination? I could live with that version. Other than that...it was a very okay book. Kass Morgan is a good writer, no doubt, but I wish for a faster paced storyline. 4 out of 5 goodreads stars.
