Story und Stil innovativ und spannend. Für mich als Laien wird teilweise etwas zu viel Fachwissen vorausgesetzt - es wäre schön, wenn astronomische Begriffe zumindest bei der ersten Nennung kurz erklärt würden. So musste ich doch immer mal wieder googeln. Punktabzug gibt es dafür, dass die ganz wenigen weiblichen Charaktere die es gibt charakterlose Anhängsel männlicher Charaktere sind. Das war mir beim lesen schon aufgefallen, aber die Charakterliste im Anhang verdeutlicht das wirklich nochmal sehr. Klar, die Bobs sind männlich und das ist kein Problem. Aber auch alle relevanten Figuren auf der Erde und den anderen Planeten sind Männer (mit Ausnahme von Bridget, die als love interest dient und bei der dann auch direkt ihr Aussehen statt ihr Charakter oder ihre Fähigkeiten beschrieben wird; und Diana, deren einziger Charakterzug zu sein scheint, Bob nicht zu mögen).
