This one was quite a nice surprise. I wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it at first because the premise did sound absolutely ridiculous, but it was so amazing! All in all it was lighthearted, funny and easy to read but the characters also had a nice depth. The relationship also worked so well. And I always love seeing all the characters from the other books again!
This was FABULOUS! I had a bucketload of fun with these dumbasses. The age-gap dynamic in this (24 and 31) is completely different from what I've come to expect from the trope and I was invested. I thought the self realisation and coming-out worries were as nuanced as this series is ever going to get and I really like the low angst of it all. And the epilogue was EVERYTHING! I love Ezra so, so ridiculously much. And Alexander Cendese was a wonderful fit for Miles' frat bro extravaganza :D Can't wait for the Easton/my brother's best friend romance in our future! CNs: abandonment issues, divorce is frequently mentioned, comings out (public & private), being afraid of your religious parents' reaction (ultimaltey, they are wonderful about it, but the anxiety before is substantial), dognapping (it's done more funnily than it sounds, promise :D)
