You saw the cover, you knew what you were getting yourself into, and you still chose to open this book and read it.“ Wenn ich sage, das war das spannendste, traurigste und überraschendste Buch mit dem gottlosesten Smut den ich seit Jahren gelesen habe, dann wäre das echt untertrieben :D Ich hab NICHTS erwartet von diesem Buch, ich hab es angefangen weil ich das Cover gesehen hab und dachte „Jap, monster smut it is.“ Ich hab echt mit allem gerechnet, aber nicht damit, dass das Buch so gut ist??? Das World Building und die Geschichte an sich sind wirklich gut geschrieben, das Buch hat eine unerwartete Tiefe und ich konnte es wirklich kaum weglegen. Ich freue mich also umso mehr, dass die Reihe 6 Bücher umfasst😬 Also, für alle meine morally grey dark romance fantasy monster smut girlies out there: get that book!

Ich weiß doch auch nicht.

Wat soll ich sagen. Irgendwie war‘s gut. Bisschen weird aber auch. Komischerweise fand ich es am blödesten, als auf einmal Elfen ins Spiel kamen. Was macht ihr hier? Sucht euch eure eigene Welt. Naja, all in all irgendwie gut I guess 🥸

Amazing book! The monster is so perfectly monstrous, and the descriptions did a great job at reminding me of his monstrous skull snout, his fur, his super interesting eyes, everything. I tend to get disappointed when the monsters, demons or other creatures just end up being described like any other human, aside from maybe the first description. But again, this author does a great job at that. The smut was A+ too in the beginning, loved the tension between them. Somewhere around 50%, I got a little annoyed with Reia. I hated when she manipulated/forced him to get what she wants. I guess it's fair, since he's the one who forced her to be with him anyway, but it still annoyed me quite a bit. Not enough to put me off the book though! Still a great read. Around 70%, I kind of felt the tension leave though. There was just a little too much of the low-angst happy vibes, and when the story picked up again, I kind of didn't want it to anymore. Plus, I personally tend to lose interest when the couple gets together, so it might also be that. I did end up getting mostly back into the story when it promised to get more interesting, though. Another thing I'm really happy about, is that Orpheus, despite being super sweet and wholesome, wasn't TOO sweet. He still got a little "wild" at times, and didn't stop numerous times turing sex to ask for consent, which sometimes put me off other sweet monster books. So all in all, this is actually my favorite read lately. Orpheus is an amazing monster, and the world and story are really interesting and unique. I recommend it :)

Hat mir sehr gut gefallen

Reia und Orpheus sind soooo unglaublich süß zusammen. Es ist richtig unterhaltsam gewesen zu erfahren wie die beiden ihre Ungleichheit aus ausbalancieren um zusammen zu leben den Orpheus möchte Reia eigentlich nicht fressen sondern nur Gesellschaft in seinem sonst sehr einsamen Leben. Der spice war absolut top 4/5🌶️ Ich hätte nicht gedacht dass mir das Buch so gut gefallen wird aber ich wurde definitiv positiv überrascht.

Literally my secret favorite!

In dem Buch ist in der Tat drin, was drauf steht. Ich muss gestehen, ich hatte keine hohen Erwartungen, deswegen wurde ich sehr angenehm überrascht!

Sehr tolles Buch. Die Beziehung zwischen den beiden Hauptcharakteren ist mega und die Story ist ebenfalls insgesamt spannend.

Inspiriert durch Animagus Bride und DemonSlayer. Slow Burn mit nachvollziehbaren Emotionen und Gedankengängen. Tolle Kommunikation. Alles was eine gute RomanceStory beinhalten sollte.

Loved it!

I loved it. It was so so good. I love Orpheus and I really love Reia too. It was so great and somehow also funny in some moments. I wish I could know more about their life together and if they plan to have a family soon. I really wish they would. It would be soooo cute. I just really enjoyed it. I couldn’t stop reading. It was so nice and the story was so good. And I loved the world. It was just wonderful and entertaining. Not a thing I would change.

Monster-Romance mit viel Spice

Dieses Buch ist wild… Er ist ein menschenfressender Dämon, der einen Deal mit den Menschen hat, dass er ihnen einen Schutzzauber übers Dorf legt, wenn sie ihm alle 10 Jahre eine Braut/Companion „opfern“. Sie wird geopfert, weil sie angeblich ein bBringerin von schlechten Omen ist. Er nimmt sie daraufhin mit ins Dämonenreich und die beiden leben zusammen. Und verlieben sich natürlich. Das Buch hat seeeehr viel Spice und der Love Interest ist definitiv ein Monster.

3.5 Stars This was my first monster smut book. I enjoyed it quite a lot and had a great time reading this. Had some minor issues with it but overall it was fun

Gracias Opal Reyne por darme horas de serotonina pura. Te amo libro bien hecho, fijo es uno de los mejores libros que he leído en todo el año, Orpheus es una cosa divina. Cuando Reia lo “quiso” imaginar como una figura humana mi mente se bloqueo, me enamoré perdidamente de su físico y de su alma Me lo leí tan rápido porque es una joya, se deslizo como mantequilla caliente y me quito un mini bloqueo, me urge leer los siguientes, lo deseo. Cuando salgan en español en físico no dudaré ni un segundo en comprarlos.
