And One Queen to Rule Them All
All Mina ever wanted was to escape her father's control. Half human, half vampire, she lived eternally torn between two worlds, never fully experiencing the pleasures of either-until her father chose her as the pawn in his latest political move, gifting her to the darkly powerful and dangerously seductive Malachi Zion.
Malachi is not a vampire to be trifled with. He rules with an iron fist and has a reputation for the darkest of sins. But the longer Mina spends with him, the more she realizes he's not the monster she first thought-and as fear bleeds into lust, then trust, then something more, Malachi opens Mina up to a world she never knew could be hers for the taking: including the love of Malachi's two closest friends and companions.
Now surrounded by all three men, the center of their shockingly seductive world, Mina may finally have the power to face down her father and take back the life-and crown-that by all rights should be hers.
LONG LIVE THE QUEEN.

This book confused me so much. The blurb sounded pretty good, so I was quite irritated when 80% of the story was actually just smut. The plot has so many holes, I wouldn't even know where to start, the world building left much to be desired and the build up of the relationship between Mina and "her men" is non existent. I'm sorry to say that this is the worst book I've read in quite a while.
Maybe 2⭐️ I am disappointed. I was really looking forward to this book.... Thought the book had a little (a lot) more plot. It was very monotonous and quickly became a bit boring, but at the same time entertaining? The characters remained very superficial.... I don't know if I'll read anything by Katee Roberts again. I had seen Neon Gods on Instagram many times. But I don't think I will read it in the near future.
First of all - I expected something differently. I thought it would be a „normal“ high Fantas or urban Fantas, but it has a polyamorous trope AND a lot of spice. I liked the characters a lot ! What I didn’t like: book is split in 3 parts and the beginning of the 2nd and 3rd the author explained things and there we little throwbacks. Why I do like this in series, I hate it in one book. And I would have liked more of the men‘s backstory and more demons. BUT it entertained me while I am sick in bed. So I would recommend.
Diving into Court of the Vampire Queen by Katee Robert was like indulging in a guilty pleasure—think of it as the literary equivalent of binge-watching trashy TV. Plot & Setting: Let’s not kid ourselves; the plot is as deep as a puddle. I was genuinely amazed at how mundane situations could escalate into a foursome frenzy. The contemporary setting threw me off a bit; I went in expecting a classic vampire court, not scenes involving fridges, gym routines, and Plan B pills. Characters: Character-wise, all four protagonists embody clear stereotypes and lack significant development. But let’s face it, you’re not reading this for elaborate world-building or high-stakes drama. Spice Level: The spice is detailed, plentiful, and creative. Breaking a blood ward with a foursome? Who would’ve thought? I was surprised that the demon bond was as innocent as a kiss on the hand. And when they debated needing another blood ward, I was half-expecting some female-on-female action. But I wouldn’t necessarily call this a plot twist. Overall Experience: Later in the book, an actual plot emerges, yet, as previously stated, it’s easily resolved. I read this book as my first foray into the reverse harem and “why choose” trope, and it definitely delivered. I enjoyed it the way I enjoy trash TV—somewhat ashamed yet thoroughly entertained. If you’re in the mood for a steamy, low-commitment read, Court of the Vampire Queen might just be your cup of tea.
Not for me
I don't know what I expected from this book but it definitely was not this! There's literally almost no plot. The little plot that was delivered wasn't even that bad but the rest of the book is kinda overshadowing it. The whole book is basically only spice or maybe you could even call it P**n because that's basically all that's happening, starting on page 2. I still finished the book because I wanted to know how it ends. It was the first book with this kind of setting that I read. Maybe it's just not for me. The ending was kinda cute tho. I wouldn't really recommend this book without a thorough research about it.
3,5-4 It's a good book. Exciting, spicy and not boring. I liked the characters and the story all in all, but why the fuck has to be there a pregnancy? I am not a fan of the pregnancy trope and in my opinion it crashes the book a little bit. I would find it better without the pregnancy but I can't change it so...
The book was ok. Katee's writing style is very fluent, you get through the book really quickly. And I also enjoyed it. And I want to make one thing clear: you only read this book for one reason. You can consider me guilty. The "plot"? Vampire smut. 100%, there's a paper-thin plot, but it really doesn't amount to much. The characters... well, the men were more tangible to me than Mina. If you're looking for a vampire book with some spice and action, you're in the wrong place. There's p 0 rn here. From the very first page.
