A Mixed Bag While I appreciated the effort, it didn't quite resonate with me. One aspect that didn't work for me was the "insta-love" trope, which felt a bit rushed and left me wanting more depth in the relationship development. Additionally, as a short story, I found that it missed some of the depth and complexity that I typically enjoy in longer narratives. The potential for character growth and world-building felt somewhat limited, which made it hard for me to fully immerse myself in the story. Overall, while "Stone Heart" has its charm, it wasn't the right fit for my reading preferences. If you enjoy quick reads with a focus on romance, you might find it more appealing!
