Bloodlines 06: The Ruby Circle

Nichts an der Handlung hat mich wirklich interessiert und das Ende war viel zu kitschig bzw hat mir Sydenys Charakter noch mehr kaputt gemacht, nur noch adrian zählt, sie lebt nur noch für Adrian, eigenständige Person und Ziele? Fehlanzeige. Bis zu fiery heart habe ich die Buchreihe wirklich geliebt, schade das die Geschichte sowie Adrians und Sydenys Beziehung so ins schlechte gezogen worden ist

3 stars for "The Ruby Circle" because it was quite average. First of all, it probably was the shortest book out of the whole Bloodlines series. The ending was kinda rushed (I would have loved to see a certain reaction from certain somebodies, come on! That would have been two extra pages!) And more of a rounded up ending. Else, I believe there will be a sequel series to the sequel series and if there isn't, Richelle shouldn't get my hopes up. Second, I feel like there weren't SO many events? And if, most of them passed as "meh" for me. Okay, there were a few huge plottwists (and that's why I REALLY hope for another bookseries because you can't simply leave it as it is now! NO.) The characters walked in, took the scene in, waved their hands and *badoom*, the evil and hard task was done. So, quite "eeeeh" to read. Third, I REALLY can't stand Adrian and Sydney anymore. They were boring and cheesy and if I have to read one more declaration of undying love for each other, I might puke. I liked them so much better as friends because then they were funny and whatever not. The last 2-3 books got so annoying for me. But I wanted to finish the series because of all the unsolved mysteries. And because of Rose and Dimitri, because they still are my favorite couple in the Vampire Academy world. So, being finished with my rant, I want to add that the book isn't as bad as I might let it sound. I was simply disappointed in how it ended and how all the books summed up to this last one. Like already mentioned above, it's a very average ending, well written no doubt, but not all that majorly exciting.

*explota en llanto* También en: El Extraño Gato del Cuento Vamos, la única manera que este libro no me gustara es que Richelle Mead hiciera alguna tontería, pero de esas tonterías épicas y todos sabemos que Richelle es para nada tonta, al contrario, es muy inteligente y astuta y... Gracias por estos libros, señora Mead, gracias. Es difícil no hablar como la fangirl que soy, ¿cuantos años ya con ésta serie? No solo Bloodlines, sino también Vampire Academy, desde comencé a leer, hace ya unos buenos... bueno, no me quiero sentir mucho mayor de lo que soy. Al igual que Sydney y Adrian: maduré con cada libro publicado, cambié de opinión totalmente respecto a todo, al igual que Sydney con los Moroi. Acepté que tenía un problema, busque ayuda y fallé y de nuevo busque ayuda, al igual que Adrian. Así que, dime: ¿Cómo diablos me despido de estos chicos? ¿Hay alguna forma no dramática de saber que se acabó? Ugh, ponerse sentimental es tan fácil a veces. ¿Me gustó el final? Me encantó, hay una revelación que me dejó haciendo sonido porcinos por aproximadamente dos minutos. O sea, después de once libros Y RECIÉN SE LE OCURRE MENCIONAR ESO. O SEA, RICHELLE QUE DIABLOS PENSABAS! Pero está bien, a cualquiera se le pude ir un DETALLE TAN IMPORTANTE COMO ESE. Es normal, supongo. Y sobre la segunda bomba... ¿alguien más siente que habrá un spin-off del spin-off, eh, eh? Dime loca pero si en realidad hubiera una nueva historia (cosa que Richelle ha estado insinuando desde siempre) sinceramente no me molestaría, es de las pocas veces que siento no alargan una historia por dinero, sus libros hasta ahora han tenido una muy buena calidad así que no me preocupa ver material por solo llenar hojas. Sé, por los comentarios que leo tanto en Facebook y Twitter, que esto de que pueda haber otra serie basado en el mundo de los Moroi y Dhampir no es algo que emocione a todos los lectores de la serie, pero de verdad de verdad, quisiera que esto se cumpla. No solo porque amaría ver de nuevos a mis chicos favoritos, sino porque algunas cosas que se sienten inconclusas en la historia. Y esa sé que será un gran punto en contra del libro, ya estoy empezando a ver varios lectores disgustados con ese aspecto. En teoría el libro tiene final, pero luego de terminar de leer te preguntas: Pero ¿qué les pasó? ¿Se enteran? ¿Dentro de veinte años todo sigue igual? En parte porque quién no quiere saber más de sus personajes favoritos y otra porque, bueno, está el detallito. Luego de terminar de leerlo y postergar lo más que pude esta reseña (dos horas :D), sigo pensando ¿Por qué The Ruby Circle? Me refiero al nombre y entonces recordé el final. ¿Será por eso? Cuando lo termines de leer espero que me ayudes a responder esa pregunta. Cuando crees que no puedes enamorarte más de una historia, llega Richelle Mead y te demuestra lo contrario, The Ruby Circle fue todo lo que yo quería, incluso la sensación de que cabe la posibilidad de que haya más, ¿qué puedo decir? Me gusta la serie y quisiera tener 50 años y seguir viendo a mis chicos y envejecer con ellos, sería una gran motivación. Lamento si no explico mucho del libro pero no me gustaría por nada del mundo soltar si quiera un spoiler, aunque creo que sin querer dije algo, si lo hice perdón, no fue mi intención!
