Where the Library Hides

Auch Band 2 der Reihe hat mir unheimlich gut gefallen! Ein wirklich toller Abschluss und endlich würde es auch ein bisschen "schnulzig" 🤎. Die beiden Sprecher waren absolut top und ich kann die Hörbuch-Version jedem ans Herz legen!

"I would burn the world twice over to save her life." I became involved in this story from the first page. It's a beautiful historical-fiction fantasy set in Egypt during 1885 and the conclusion to what has become one of my favourite duologies. This book was definitely more intense then the first, the twists went crazy and the ending was actually insane. There is just something about the focus on egyptian history with magic thrown in that had me hooked. I applaud the author for the amount of frustration and angst she was able to make me feel throughout the whole book. I loved Inez stubborn attitude and how despite being hurt so badly she continued to love whole heartedly, even if it makes her too trusting for her own good sometimes. I love her strength, her intelligence and her willpower. The poor girl went through it in this book and there were many times where my heart ached for her. I’m not going to lie I kinda hated Whit for like 60% of the book. I was so angry at him, but as the book went on I started to understand his character better. There is never a dull moment with Inez and Whit and I am really hoping for a spin off series here.
