In diesem Psycho-Thriller bin ich versunken und habe es in 2 Tagen ausgelesen (na ok, liege im Spital und habe genügend Zeit 😁). Der Text flüssig und abwechselnd in der Vergangenheit und dann wieder in der Jetztzeit geschrieben und ... dass fand ich in diesem Thriller absolut souverän und auch notwendig. So hat man immer wieder neue Erkenntnisse gewonnen. Also ... Viel Spaß beim Lesen ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen 🤗

4.0Sehr stark, aber kein Highlight
Das Buch hat mir insgesamt sehr gut gefallen. Der Schreibstil ist angenehm und flüssig, man kommt schnell in die Geschichte rein und bleibt auch gut dran. Besonders das Setting im Gefängnis mochte ich sehr, weil es mal etwas komplett anderes war, als das, was man sonst so liest. Auch der Aufbau des Buches hat für mich richtig gut funktioniert. Die Perspektivwechsel, durch die Unterteilung in einzelne Teile, waren sinnvoll gewählt und haben die Geschichte übersichtlich gemacht. Trotz der Zeitsprünge war ich nie verwirrt – alles war klar, rund und gut nachvollziehbar. Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt für mich war der Plot am Ende. Den habe ich leider schon kommen sehen, wodurch der Überraschungseffekt etwas verloren gegangen ist. Trotzdem war die Auflösung stimmig und hat zur Geschichte gepasst. Alles in allem habe ich kaum etwas auszusetzen. Es ist ein sehr gutes Buch, spannend, gut geschrieben und atmosphärisch – am Ende hat es für mich einfach nur nicht ganz für das riesige Highlight und damit für volle fünf Sterne gereicht.
