    Langweilig, hab was anderes erwartet

    Ich dachte zuerst, dass das wirklich eine Serienkiller romance is und dachte mir nur "woah klingt ja recht passend zum Oktober" Allerdings war das Buch mehr süß als Horror. Also es war eigentlich garnicht horror oder thriller. (hätte auch die genres lesen können) Aber ich fands auch trotz, dass es nicht das war, was ich erwartet habe echt langweilig und ich hab davon nh Leseflaute bekommen. Kann es 0 empfehlen

    Phoebe Walsh is definitely a sucker for the genre of true crime. She even writes her dissertation on it. But when her father, she never really had a relationship to, dies, she goes back to Florida to get the house ready to sell. On her first night there’s a tall, barefoot guy coming up to her in the dark, who is apparently her neighbour Sam. Of course a serial killer ! I mean look at the weird times he leaves for “ work” and comes back home. But in conclusion he’s just a cute guy who just has eyes for Pheebs. All in all a really cute slow burn romance.

    Ich habe definitiv mehr erwartet. Mehr von allem 😅 Es gibt halt einfach null Gründe für ihren Verdacht, dass er ein Serienmörder sein soll, außer ihre Besessenheit von True Crime. Sie wirkt daher grundlos paranoid zu Beginn, im Laufe der Geschichte verliert sich die ganze Thematik rund um Serienmörder etc. und wurde zur langatmigen 0815 'ich habe kein Herz und so viel Angst vor Liebe' Rom-Com. Leider erfährt man im ganzen Buch gar nicht, woher ihre Faszination für diese Thematik kommt. Es bleibt daher alles eher flach und fade. Nett für zwischendurch, wenns sein muss 😅 Alter der Protagonistin: 30
