4.0Das ich die Dilogie in 3 Tagen durchgesuchtet habe, sagt schon viel aus. Der leichte Schreibstil trägt viel dazu bei… YA halt. Genauso wie das futuristische Setting, welches ich in der Art noch nicht gelesen hatte. Mit der Hauptprotagonistin Callie musste ich erst mal warm werden, weil ich manche ihrer Handlungen nicht nachvollziehen konnte. Leider gab es für mich auch ein paar Ungereimtheiten, die für mich nicht logisch waren, sich zum Ende hin aber mehr aufgelöst haben.

4.0Geniale Idee • Storyline mit einigen Schwächen
Ich liebe diese Grundidee und mag auch den Schreibstil von Lissa Price. Die Kapitel sind relativ kurz und man kann sich die Szenen sehr gut bildlich vorstellen. Die Dialoge hingegen wirkten auf mich oft unnatürlich, teilweise etwas merkwürdig. Aber es handelt sich natürlich um Sci-Fi und daher auch um eine völlig andere Gesellschaft, von daher ist das vielleicht so gewollt. Lissa Price hat hier eine super spannende dystopische Gesellschaft und auch verschiedene tolle Charaktere erschaffen. Das Ende hat mich leider etwas enttäuscht - es ging zu schnell, hatte keinen wirklichen Spannungsaufbau und war nicht ganz nachvollziehbar. Auch die gesamte Storyline hat mich nicht so sehr gefesselt, dass ich das Buch verschlingen konnte. Alles in allem aber (vor allem durch die Idee) ein solides und lesenswertes Buch. Ich bin gespannt, wie es im zweiten Teil weiter geht, auch wenn mich das Ende von Teil 1 nicht so heiß drauf gemacht hat wie gehofft.
