    Wie viel Leid kann ein Mensch ertragen?

    Diese Frage habe ich mir beim Lesen immer wieder gestellt. Ich habe schon viele Bücher über den Nationalsozialismus gelesen, aber keines hat mich so erschüttert – und gleichzeitig fasziniert. Unbeschreibliche Verbrechen an der Menschlichkeit, und doch bleibt immer dieser eine Funke Hoffnung. Die Original-Tagebucheinträge und Fotos machen das Durchlebte noch greifbarer – fast schon persönlich. Die Geschichte ist schrecklich – und doch so fesselnd, dass man sie nicht aus der Hand legen kann. #Niewieder

    Teilweise natürlich sehr Menschenunwürdige Beschreibungen und Szenen beschrieben. An sich aber ein super Buch über den Zusammenhalt von Vater und Sohn in so einer Situation

    Dieses Buch hab mich buchstäblich fertig gemacht. Ich musste zwischendrin immer wieder Pause machen und das geschriebene verarbeiten und ab und an liefen mir auch die ein oder andere Träne, weil ich dieses Grauen immer noch nicht fassen kann und es auch nie werde.
