This is where it ends tells the story of a school-shooting. It‘s told from four different perspectives. From people inside and outside the school. It touches other topics as racism & homophobia, but most of the time it‘s about loss, the pain which comes with it, about friendship and family, about fear and love and how those two are connected. Especially the end of the book touched me alot. Favorite Quote: „But Abuelo always said there were two types of people in this world: those who belong to the soil and the good, rich earth, planting their seeds to blossom, and those who belong to the road and the endless horizons, carrying their home on their shoulders wherever they go.“

this book is about a pretty heavy topic. school shootings. it was super emotional and really shone a light on what victims would feel as the events unfold. it’s told in multiple povs which i really enjoyed and it never got confusing. the twists and turns had my stomach in knots the entire time. if you’re able to handle a book on this topic, i highly recommend this one.
