Spicy sapphic romances are rare, but spicy sapphic + dark romance, they even more so. And I NEEED more of them. So this book made me more than just happy. I have to admit I liked the ‘criminal underworld‘ setting more than the ‘bdsm‘ theme because intrigues, women in power in a criminal kind of scenery, and a good dark and twisted plot interest me more, and are my definition for dark romance rather than ‘rough sex‘ (don‘t come after me, but in my opinion rough or kinky sex is not at all what makes a dark romance, it‘s the story themes and the morally grey) However, “Don‘t stop me“ does in my opinion a great job, by being a good sapphic dark romance, by introducing to very intriguing FMCs, by combining all of that with BDSM, and by a good captivating storyline aside from the romance. The ending comes a little bit fast, especially due to the leap in time at the end. I would have liked to read more about the character development, especially regarding Ax‘ son, and about Ax herself. Still, I do think the ending wraps this book up so well, like I said it just did not last long enough and was over too soon. I‘m veeeeery excited for the other books in this series. I haven‘t read the synopsises (is that the plural? I hope so😂) yet, but I hope Sloan gets a book as well. 4/5⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
3.5 ⭐ This was wild and not what I expected. The smut in this...holy. This isn't usually the kind of book I read but I still really enjoyed it. I had a bit of trouble getting into it and the last ~30 pages were rather boring. But I really enjoyed the middle part. I'm gonna read some of the authors other books and hope I enjoy them even more, now that I kinda know what to expect.
