Tropes: – stepsisters – “touch her and I‘ll 💀you“ – good girl x bad girl – “it‘s always been you“ – forbidden love – bd$m club – criminal underworld – miscommunication

OMG the spice in this is unbelievable. It‘s so good. Lillian with her bratty attitude and her job as photographer in the bd$m scene, and Sloan with her morally grey hacker and piercing artist vibe, they are both on their own fascinating characters, and in each scene together I could see, they are perfect for each other. Them being stepsisters combined with the flashbacks into their pasts is just the cherry on top. But I do have a point of critic, a rather big one, and that‘s the miscommunication between these two. I‘m not a fan of the miscommunication trope in general, but I don‘t mind if it‘s done in a charming way, and when it comes to the flashbacks I can understand the miscommunication, but in the present timeline it does annoy me a little tbh, because they are going in circles, and at some point it is a little bit too much. 3.5/5⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
