Feeling is what makes us human. Even the most difficult feelings. Perhaps especially those. Love, loss, longing – this is what it means to be truly alive. Actual rating: 3,5 stars. This novella is set in Paris in 1989. We get to know Céline, who belongs to Valentine’s Circle. Together with Robert Lightwood and Stephen Herondale she’s on a mission for the Circle. Meanwhile Jem is trying to track down the Lost Herondale. On the one hand, I really enjoyed this short story because compared to the previous ones, this one finally has more action! But I also think that we read enough about Valentine and I’m not too interested in the lost Herondale storyline.
