Das Setting in Darkmore Penitentiary macht einfach süchtig und die Spannung zwischen den Charakteren- TOP TIER. Einige Szenen waren ein bisschen over the top und manchmal hätte ich mir etwas mehr Tiefe gewünscht, aber overall war es so ein typisches „nur noch ein Kapitel“ Buch. Wenn du Zodiac Academy vibes + Reverse Harem + enemies to lovers + prison romance willst → READ THIS. 📚✨

As usual with the twisted sisters, the last 100 pages had me on my toes. I found the characters slightly more annoying than in the first book (the back and forth and making everyone jealous is getting on my nerves), but I'm still excited how everything will play out in the end.

Darkmore Penitentary Band 2 mit viel Spice
Im zweiten Teil der Darkmore-Penitentary-Reihe wird nahtlos an den Cliffhanger des ersten Teils angeknüpft. Wobei das Hauptaugenmerk in diesem Teil für mich bei der Charakterentwicklung der Protagonisten liegt. Die Tropes des Buches würde ich wieder sehr ähnlich wie beim ersten Buch bewerten: "Rejected Mates", "Enemies to Lovers" und "Second Chance Romance". Aus dem "Slow Burn" aus Band 1 wird hier jedoch jede Menge Spice. Die Qualität entspricht für mich auch der des ersten Buches der Reihe, daher erneut 4,5 Sterne für gute Unterhaltung - für mich persönlich in Band 1 etwas stärkere Storyline, jedoch in Band 2 endlich etwas vom heißersehnten Spice.
