"You're mine!" "He's mine!" "I'm yours" "She's mine" "All mine..." "MINE!!!" it was a little much of that 😅 And at some point during sex somebody always started "seeing stars" 😂 it's a little repetitive. An upside of the sex scenes is that they're actually a little original and kinky. It's not something I've read before and I like it. What I love about Emily Raths protagonists is that they are very communicative and open with each other. No toxic drama or freezing each other out or anything like that. The connections always seem very healthy ❤️🩹 I need that to become the gold standard. I want to read more about wholesome couples, it's so soothing for the soul 🥹 I didn't like the threatening of "I'm gonna tell the press and you're guy won't be able to play anymore, he will lose everything and everybody will hate you" which is so 🙄 ugh, really? It felt re-heated from the first book where the author does exactly the same thing. but this time the one doing the threatening was Tess' disgusting ex husband. God, would I have liked to delete him from the book. made me feel some type of way 😤 Other than that, it's a good book 😅 Although the repetitiveness of YOU'RE MINE, I SAW STARS, and I'M GONNA THREATEN YOU WITH BAD PRESS makes me a little bit hesitant to continue in the series.
