I did not enjoy poetry that much. I always thought that school had destroyed any love for it I had. Now, I realise that there was another reason: I had never before read poetry that spoke to me. I am glad I came across this book, and the previous one, (as well as poems from Dimoula and Rupi Kaur). Now I know that there is poetry for me. Poetry that is fuelled by rage and fire. I loved this one.

I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. "The witch doesn't burn in this one" is Amanda Lovelace's second poetry collection after "The princess saves herself in this one" and I have been looking forward to reading it for so long! The poems here are pure awesomeness and while some made me cry, others made me giggle with how epic and encouraging they are. Amanda knows how to stand up for women and there wasn't a single disappointing page in this collection. Loved her writing from cover to cover and can't wait to read more of her beautiful work. I'm so grateful I got to review this!
