'Thriller of the Year' Daily Mail
'Hypnotic and scary' Stephen King
'Examines the fine line between seduction and stalking . . . Ludicrously readable' Guardian
When aspiring writer Guinevere Beck strides into the bookstore where Joe works, he is instantly smitten.
But there's more to Joe than Beck realises and much more to Beck than her perfect facade. And the obsessive relationship quickly spirals into a whirlwind of deadly consequences...
A chilling account of unrelenting, terrifying deceit, Caroline Kepnes' You is a thriller more perversely clever and dangerously twisted than any YOU have ever read.
'I am RIVETED, AGHAST, AROUSED, you name it. The rare instance when prose and plot are equally delicious' Lena Dunham
‘Brilliant thriller with attitude, guts and true insight into the nature of obsession' Sophie Hannah
'A fantastically creepy thriller... The kind of book you put your life on hold for' Glamour
'Clever and chilling' Elle
'A brilliant tale… It's Gone Girl meets a sinister version of Girls' Marie Claire
'An addictive thriller!' Closer

Tomorrow is the day I sit and write reviews but today... Putting out some pointers: Please note that you do not support the stalker behavior or violence in this book— my feelings about the story and the characters are purely out of entertainment and nothing else. Thanks! I admire Joe for his intelligence, charm, charisma, his humor, and personality BUT he is mentally ill. It’s scary how normal he is behaving but the voice that we hear/ read throughout the book is so so so creepy. I was so so so scared of him, of this book, of this human. (But also kind of impressed- wow. Things we do for love, right? No. Please don’t.) I was freaking annoyed by Peach. I sometimes just wanted her to get a grip on her life and stop annoying me. I somehow confused her with an intelligent, strong woman, which is why at times in the novel I found myself rooting for Joe. (UGGH yes) I loved how the story began and ended. A full circle of life. Even though I enjoyed the story, it kind of felt dragged in between- the story could have been crisp or so I think. I wouldn’t call it the best of the best reads but definitely entertaining and worth the time, it was definitely addictive. Full review to come.
