Hope Lanover is in need of a break after a broken relationship, stalled creative dreams, and losing touch with the confident woman she once was. When her best friend invites her on a luxury cruise, Hope reluctantly agrees, even though she's not a cruise person. Felix Segrave, a sober, workaholic chef, hates leaving his restaurant and routine, but he can't refuse the surprise cruise tickets his parents give him. When Hope and Felix meet at check-in, their initial attraction leads to a fling, but their emotional baggage catches up with them, causing a huge fight that leaves them stranded in paradise.
