Jeder der Secret Lives of Mormon Wives gesehen hat, kennt Mayci Neeley. Zumindest die MomTokerin und Reality-TV-Persönlichkeit. Aber dieses Buch liefert einen herzzereißenden Einblick in ihre Vergangenheit, einen, den nur sie geben kann.💔 Ich muss zugeben, ich war etwas skeptisch bevor ich zu lesen begonnen habe, weil ich Angst hatte, dass das nur ein weiteres Celebrity-Buch von einem Ghostwriter ist. Aber ich war positiv überrascht als ich eine ernst gemeinte Geschichte fand, die Mayci wirklich selbst geschrieben hat. Ja, es ist kein literarisches Meisterwerk, aber eine berührende Erzählung, die einige Fragen, die während der Show auftauchten, beantworten konnte. Und während ich natürlich denke, dass es am interessantesten für Leute ist, die die Serie gesehen haben, so denke ich, dass abseits dessen spannende Einblicke in die mormonische Kultur und die Rolle der Frau innerhalb dieser bietet.
