Toller Schreibstil, flüssig und unterhaltsam, nur angedeuteter Spice (was mir sehr gut gefällt) und immer ein anderes spannendes Thema .. hier ging es um die Mafia, die versucht Abigail zu töten, weil sie etwas sah was sie nicht sehen sollte.
Ein toller Roman mit Nervenkitzel und Schmunzelmomenten. Leider hat er sich in der Mitte ein wenig gezogen.
Ein toller Roman mit Nervenkitzel und Schmunzelmomenten. Die Art und Weise von Elizabeth und ihre Erklärungen erinnern sehr an Bones und haben mir sehr gut gefallen. Es ist sehr bedrückend, wie Elizabeths Mutter mit ihr umgeht und was ein toller Mensch sie dennoch geworden ist. Leider haben sich die ersten Kapitel in der Gegenwart ziemlich gezogen, wodurch ich zwischendurch nicht weitergekommen bin . Total fasziniert hat mich jedoch Bert - solch einen Hund hätte ich auch gerne an meiner Seite. Mit dem Ende hätte ich persönlich nicht so gerechnet und finde ihn sehr gelungen. Dafür hat sich die Durststrecke in der Mitte wirklich gelohnt und ich war am Lächeln, als ich die letzten Seiten las..
