Ich fand "Assassin's Creed - Der geheime Kreuzzug" von Oliver Bowden wirklich fesselnd. Der angenehme Schreibstil hat mich von Anfang an gepackt, sodass ich das Buch einfach nicht zur Seite legen konnte. Obwohl ich Band 3 als erstes gelesen habe, habe ich mich an die Erscheinungsreihenfolge des Spiels orientiert. Die Entwicklung des Hauptcharakters Altair ist perfekt geschrieben und man konnte sich wirklich gut in ihn hineinversetzen, genauso wie im Spiel. Besonders interessant fand ich auch die After Story mit Maria und seinen Kindern. Insgesamt eine gelungene Lektüre für alle Fans der Assassin's Creed Reihe.
