Dark Mafia Romance x Found Family x Possessive MMC x Enemies to Lovers Am meisten beeindruckt hat mich die Charakterentwicklung von Morana und Tristan. Morana ist für mich das absolute Herzstück dieser Geschichte. Sie ist unglaublich smart, unabhängig und stark, ohne dabei ihre Verletzlichkeit zu verlieren. Ich liebe, wie sie die Kontrolle über ihr eigenes Leben zurücknimmt und aktiv Entscheidungen trifft, statt nur passiv auf das zu reagieren, was um sie herum passiert. Ihre Intelligenz – besonders bei den technischen Aspekten – hat mich immer wieder begeistert. Und dann Tristan… ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich mich so sehr in seine Figur hineinfühlen könnte. Am Anfang wirkt er so unnahbar, gefährlich und undurchdringlich, aber nach und nach bröckeln diese Mauern. Sein Weg, sich Morana gegenüber zu öffnen, war einfach wunderschön geschrieben – leise, geduldig und unglaublich echt. Es fühlt sich nicht überhastet an, sondern wie ein natürlicher Prozess. Ein weiterer Punkt, der mir richtig ans Herz ging, war der Found-Family-Trope. Es gibt diesen Moment, in dem man merkt, dass es in der Geschichte nicht nur um Liebe, sondern auch um Zugehörigkeit, Vertrauen und Familie geht – und dass Familie eben nicht immer die ist, in die man hineingeboren wird, sondern die, die man findet. Diese Dynamik hat der düsteren Stimmung des Buches so viel Wärme verliehen. Und natürlich der Handlungsstrang um die vermissten Mädchen! Dieses Thema zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch das Buch und sorgt dafür, dass man konstant mitfiebert. Ich wollte unbedingt wissen, wie alles zusammenhängt. Ich habe es geliebt und kann den nächsten Band kaum erwarten!

🇩🇪 Ich weiß gar nicht, was ich hierzu sagen soll. Tristan und Morana sind absolute Liebe. Dieses Buch und die Fortsetzung ihrer Geschichte hat mich total abgeholt und ich war richtig in der Story versunken. Ich weiß nicht, was RuNyx da getan hat, aber ich habe lange keine Dark Romance Geschichte mehr gelesen, die so einen guten Plot UND eine gute Lovestory hat. Definitiv eine große Empfehlung für die Dark Verse Reihe. Sie wird für immer einen Platz in meinem Herzen haben. 🩷 🇺🇲 I don't even know what to say about this. Tristan and Morana are absolute love. This book and the continuation of their story totally picked me up and I was really immersed in the story. I don't know what RuNyx did there, but I haven't read a dark romance story in a long time that has such a good plot AND a good love story. Definitely a big recommendation for the Dark Verse series. It will forever have a place in my heart. 🩷
Wow. Just fucking wow. To be honest at first I didn’t really like it. It wasn’t that exciting. But as the book went on and the bond between Dante and morana and Tristan and morana formed, I literally fell in love. Thought what I really found sad in these books was that it was all told from Moranas perspective. Like these books where focused on morana and there were soo many scenes where I just wished that I could know what Tristan was feeling right now. That is also the reason why the epilogue was my favourite chapter from both books. That epilogue was everything for me. I love Tristan and Morana soo much!! I am so excited to start Dante’s book because that bond between him and Morana?!? It was everything for me. I was sobbing at all the scenes where he was just there for her😭

Ich mochte die "Dilogie" um Tristan und Morana sehr gerne. Die beiden verbinden Gefühle, die ich gar nicht in Worte fassen kann, es fühlt sich jedoch alles so real an und ich konnte mich unfassbar gut in die Geschichte hineinversetzen, habe mitgelitten und mitgelacht 🥰 weshalb ich dieses Buch jedem empfehlen kann, der auf dark romance steht, dieses Buch wäre bei mir auf der Spice Skala eine 2.5/5
Mr. Caine, if your obsession with Moana become too much one day... I believe Christian Allister has a therapist, with expertise in that field, on speed dial. And boy he is obsessed with his woman (who can blame him? nerdy is indeed the new sexy). He's got it bad. I have a question for the universe: How. HOW. Did Tristan 'The Predator' Caine get even hotter? If he is an utter simp for Morana, then I am at least as much one for him. Morana and Tristan. They are what I need when I read a dark romance. The Tension. Emotional Fucked-up-ness. The Incapability to decide if they want to fuck or kill each other. Those two gave me some serious pain, heartbreak and headaches. But also god....the are hot. To see their development, slowly opening up and especially our favorite caveman finally settling down and finding a home. TEARS. They both finally did. In each other. Honesty? Goals. This book went from making me sweat to cry in less than three pages. And that's what we want in this household. If I had an award for best mafia romance series.... MORANA AND TRISTAN YOU ARE NOMINATED. And now I need to read about my husband Dante. If this was fuck marry kill... I'd want to fuck Tristan. Obviously. But marry? It's got to be Dante. 5
Super spannende Reihe
Mit allem, was das Herz beliebt inklusive Plottwist. Schade, dass die Reise mit den beiden - Morana und Tristan - mit Teil 2 zu Ende geht, aber sicher wird man sie in Teil 3 wiedertreffen, wenn es um Dante und Amara geht. Auf geht's zu Teil 3 und super 5 🌟 mit Empfehlung von mir...
Leider minimal schlechter als Band 1. (Achtung Spoiler)
Man ich wollte es unbedingt lieben, weil es so im Hype war/ist. Aber hier hatte ich das Gefühl, dass die Tension zwischen den zwei Protas weniger war als im ersten Band und die Spice Szenen haben mich nicht so überzeugt, da hat irgendwie das gewisse Etwas gefehlt. Und es gab ein paar Handlungsstränge, die für mich keinen Sinn ergeben haben. Z.b. war da diese Feier, bei der Morana aus dem Anwesen gelaufen ist und ein Typ ihr hinterher ist, der sie töten wollte. Natürlich ist Tristan auch gekommen und soweiter und sofort. Und dann hat Tristan sie nicht bei sich schlafen lassen, sondern sie musste wieder zum Anwesen zurück und wurde dort ein zweites Mal angegriffen?? Also wer lässt seine Frau nach einem Angriff einfach wieder zurück ins Haus des Feindes? 😂 Und das Ende war für mich zu abrupt, plötzlich sind alle drei Herren der alten Alliance tot, innerhalb 1-2 Seiten zusammengefasst 🥲 Ich lese tatsächlich die Reihe nur weiter, weil ich wissen will wo Amara ist und was mit den verschwundenen Mädchen passiert ist.
What the actual f***. Wie bei Band 1 dachte ich am Anfang ich komme in die Story nicht rein und wie bei Band 1 saß ich am Ende mit offenem Mund da. Mir hat’s persönlich sogar noch besser als the predator gefallen und ich bin so gespannt wie die Story weiter geht aber nach dem Ende brauche ich glaube ich erstmal ein paar Tage um mich mental zu erholen.

I absolutely loved the first, and I absolutely love the second book of this series. You could put it like an addiction to the story, writing style and characters. The whole plot is perfect and I enjoyed every page of it, never got bored nor lacking motivation. Clearly looking forward to reading the third <3
