Huff, was soll ich sagen…? Ein ausgesprochen wortreiches Buch, bei welchem ich soviele Wörter nachschlagen musste wie noch selten. Hin und her gerissen, ob ich das Buch zuende lesen soll, konnte ich es dann doch nicht mehr weglegen. Ich wollte wissen, was es genau mit dem Besuch der Familie Netanjahu auf sich hatte. Ein Lächeln hat es mir allemal entlockt.

Joshua Cohen erzählt eine wahre Begebenheit aus den frühen 60er Jahren, als sich der Vater des jetzigen israelischen Premierministers Netanjahu in der Familie eines amerikanischen Literaturprofessors aufschlägt und sich mit Kind und Kegel selbst dort einlädt und mit seinen 3 Söhnen und seiner Ehefrau für totales Chaos sorgt. Köstlich!
