Things are different now... Alex was too sick to survive, so his family put him in a life pod to preserve him until a cure could be found. But no one counted on how long it would take, and when Alex is revived, he finds himself in a world with no signs of technology beyond that of the Middle Ages, animals that should not exist, and people unlike anything he has ever imagined.
