Das Buch konnte mich nicht so begeistern
Das Buch konnte mich nicht wirklich mitnehmen. Der Fokus lag sehr stark auf das Leben von verschiedenen Künstlern aus New York. Diesbezüglich habe ich defintiv hinzugelernt, aber das ist nicht so ganz das. was ich von dem Buch erwartet habe. In der Buchzusammenfasaung wurde es erwähnt, dass die Künstler thematisiert werden, aber ich dachte nicht 80% des Buches. Ich wollte viel über ihre Erfahrung lesen, wie sie alleine in New gelebt hat. Dies kam auch am Anfang und immer mal wieder zum Thema, aber darauf lag nicht der Hauptfokus. Außerdem wurden auch sexuelle Gewalt öfters thematisiert, da dies auch ein Thema war, was die Künstler betroffen hat. Naja. Für diejenigen die erfahren möchten, was bei den verschiedenen Künstlern unter anderem zu ihren Werken geführt hat, ist das Buch super. Und das Cover ist hübsch
