Zunächst war es eigentlich recht spannend, man wusste nicht genau, was zwischen Summer und Belle vorgefallen ist. Und man fragt sich natürlich, weshalb Belle überhaupt mit auf die Yacht gekommen ist, obwohl klar ist, das die beiden Frauen keine Freundinnen mehr sind. Zunächst erinnerte es mich an manchen Stellen an eine Mischung aus Gossip Girl und Revenge. Also genug High Society gepaart mit Klatsch,Tratsch, aber auch einer gewissen düsteren Atmosphäre, die sich auf dem Schiff nach und nach aufbaut. Doch gleichzeitig finde ich, das die Autorin nach und nach immer mehr übertreibt. Das aber auf eine Weise, das man es nicht satirisch lesen kann. Ich fand das Ende war dann einfach zu viel des Guten. Das war dermaßen over the top... Echt schade, wenn das etwas anders gelöst worden wäre, hätte es richtig gut werden können. So ist es zwar eine nette Strandlektüre (es gibt definitiv Urlaubsfeeling^^) aber auch recht austauschbar.
