Definitely a book to come back to and reread (in hopes of understanding a little more) but generally really liked it. Especially enjoyedthe last two short stories – "The Circular Ruins" and "Shakespeare’s Memory"

If honor and wisdom and happiness are not for me, let them be for others. Let heaven exist, though my place be in hell. Let me be outraged and annihilated, but for one instant, in one being, let your enormous library be justified. Such an interesting picture he painted with language here – though at times, the text does feel a bit drawn out.
