Die Zusammenfassung der 3 Bücher der originalen Dune-Reihe. Ein must-read für alle Science-Fiction Fans!
Wo soll man anfangen? Die Grundlage für einen Großteil der heutigen Science-Fiction Literatur, Filme und Serien. Deshalb auch zurecht ein absoluter Klassiker! Auf Englisch geht das ganze zwar etwas langsamer voran, nicht zuletzt aufgrund der ganzen eigenen Begriffe die der Autor für das Dune-Universum erfunden hat. Allerdings tut das der Spannung dieses Epos keinen Abbruch. Meiner Meinung nach noch um einiges besser als die aktuelle Filmreihe (wie so oft bei Buchverfilmungen) . Frank Herbert lässt einen in die Welt auf und im Arrakis/Dune eintauchen und das nicht zu knapp. In der Geschichte um das Haus Atreides, die Fremen und nicht zuletzt das ganze Imperium wird man mehr und mehr in den Bann dies Universums gezogen und möchte hier auch nicht mehr weg. Macht definitiv Lust auf die anderen drei Bücher der Reihe und mehr von Frank Herbert. Einfach nur lesenswert!
