Graves End is your average small town, other than the fact that it's surrounded by cemeteries on all sides and the dead outnumber the living...
There's also the swarms of red-eyed bats that fill the sky every night, the mysterious disappearances, and the constant strange goings-on that residents refuse to talk about. But still, like any small town, teenagers find a way to liven things up, even in a dead-end town like Graves End.
Amongst the tombstones, Parker West and his small gang of high school misfits find the one place they fit in, and form a lifelong bond as The Graveyard Club. A little light mischief and gentle havoc keep them entertained in their dull town, but their misadventures will lead The Graveyard Club to suddenly find themselves with bigger problems than just trying to survive senior year...

Erinnert etwas an Gänsehaut und Fear Street (gut, ist auch derselbe Autor 😄). Alles dreht sich um die Stadt Graves End - sie ist von Grabsteinen umzingelt und nach Sonnenuntergang findet man niemanden draußen Umherstreifen - außer einer Gruppe Jugendlicher, die sich »The Graveyard Club« nennen und ihre Abende und Nächte auf dem Friedhof verbringen. Es passieren typischerweise gruselige Dinge, die zunächst nicht so einfach zu erklären sind. Nach und nach wird das Rätsel langsam gelüftet - und zum Schluss.. tja, das muss man selbst rausfinden 😜 Man merkt, dass sich die Story sehr an Jugendliche richtet, es funktioniert aber auch ganz gut für ein älteres Publikum. Die Charaktere sind sehr unterschiedlich, sowohl optisch als auch vom Wesen her. Das Artwork ist kantig, wie man es von vielen Comics kennt - passt aber zum Setting wunderbar dazu und bietet viele Details. Der Comic ist vollfarbig und die Atmosphäre wird super widergespiegelt. Irgendwie hätte ich jetzt richtig Lust Gänsehaut zu gucken, haha 😄 kennt das noch jemand von euch? 👀 Erscheinungstermin ist der 28.10.2025
