wow... das war heftig und irgendwie nochmal ganz anders als das Buch "The lesbianas guide to catholic school", aber irgendwie auch echt gut
👥️Charaktere: 4,5/5 💕Romance: 3/5 🌶Spice: 0,5/5 🖋Schreibstil: 4,5/5 🏁Plot: 4/5 ✨️Setting/Atmosphäre: 4/5 🎉Spaßfaktor: 4/5 👥️Die Charaktere kannte ich größtenteils schon aus dem ersten Band und war daher sehr gespannt auf Cesars Geschichte. Seine Entwicklung ist sehr deutlich im Buch zu erkennen, was mir echt gut gefallen hat. Aber auch die anderen Charaktere mochte ich echt gerne. Dadurch, dass Caesar bipolar ist, werden in dem Buch natürlich auch viele ernste Themen angesprochen, aber soweit ich es beurteilen kann, wurden diese gut aufgearbeitet 💕Die Beziehung zwischen Cesar und Jamal war zwar etwas holprig am Anfang, weil Cesar eine manische Phase hatte, aber trotzdem war sie schön zu lesen. Ein kleines Highlight war die abuela, die einfach super süß war und am Ende auch ihr eigenes Happy End bekommt. 🌶Dadurch, dass das es ein Jugendbuch ist und der Fokus auf der Beziehung zwischen Cesar und Jamal und Cesars Gesundheit liegt, war kaum Spice vorhanden. 🖋Der Schreibstil und auch die Hörbuchstimme waren sehr angenehm zum Zuhören, sodass ich das Buch am liebsten an einem Stück gehört hätte. 🏁Der Plot war echt heftig. Nicht nur, dass Cesars mentale Gesundheit im Buch nicht die beste war, sondern auch das, was er durchmachen musste war echt nicht einfach zu hören. Auch hier fand ich das Thema von gläubig und queer sein echt gut umgesetzt. ✨️Das Setting war genau passend für das Buch, auch wenn dort mMn wenig Fokus drauf gelegt wurde. 🎉Insgesamt ist es ein richtig gutes Buch mit heftigen, aber super wichtigen Themen, dass ich echt nur jeder Person empfehlen kann zu lesen/hören
