Interessant, aber für Einsteiger*inne in dem Feld auch ganz schön viel Input 🛰🌕
Tim Marshall erklärt die Geschichte der Raumfahrt in Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft. Für den Einstieg waren es mega viele Infos und nicht immer konnte ich folgen, aber positiv waren die vielen Blickwinkel, die eingenommen wurden, sodass für alle etwas Verständliches dabei sein sollte und die Bedeutung der Raumfahrt auch ohne Ahnung von Quantenphysik deutlich wird. Das Hörbuch wurde angenehm gelesen und obwohl "nebenbei hören" nichf immer für mehr Verständnis sorgt, so war die Stimme doch total angenehm und es gab nur wenige Stellen, an denen das Buch mit Abbildungen hilfreicher gewesen wäre. Keine Offenbarung für mich, aber mein Horizont wurde definitiv um einiges erweitert 🛰🌕
Weiterhin eine der interessantesten Buchreihen aktuell!
Wie mit seinen Vorgängern setzt Tim Marshall seinen Lauf mit sehr guten und interessanten geopolitischen Büchern fort. Auch wenn es dieses Mal mehr in die theoretische Richtung geht, ist es trotzdem sehr verständlich erklärt wie sich die Dinge im Weltall bislang entwickelt haben und sich eventuell noch entwickeln werden. Hoffentlich wird es noch mehr solcher Bücher geben!
Very accessible book with a lot of food for thought. I cannot evaluate the correctness of all information, but the story telling is very attractive making it at least fun to read. The essence is clear, and combining this one with his other books one can see that space is an extension of earthy geopolitics.
