also, kurze Backstory zu dem Fund dieses Prachtexemplars. Ich bin momentan noch im Urlaub und habe nur 2 Bücher mitgenommen. Weil ich diese jedoch in 3 Tagen schon verschlungen habe, wusste ich. Ich brauche Nachschub. Also bin ich nichts ahnend in den nächstbesten Buchladen geschländert und habe DIESES MEISTERWERK gefunden. Gefühlt keiner kennt es. Kommen wir erst mal zu den Charakteren. Ich habe es lowkey geliebt wie relatable diese Charaktere waren. So tiefgründig, jeder mit seinem kleinen Geheimnis, einer schweren Vergangenheit, bei der ich oft emotional wurde 😣. Auch dieser Hauch an Liebesgeschichte hat mich einfach nur happy gemacht. Eine kleine Abwechslung von den Brutalen morden hihi. Jedoch auch tragische Liebe😔😔. Also auf jeden Fall eine Achterbahn an Emotionen. Jeder einzelne Charakter wurde mit Liebe gemacht. Sie waren alle so realistisch, vielschichtig, verständlich und was es noch für passende Adjektive gibt🥹. Der Plot… ES WAR GENIAL. Es war anfangs soo dunkel das Ende des Rätsels zu sehen, doch der AHA Effekt war crazy. Ich habe diesen Kriminalroman einfach nur VERSCHLUNGEN. Ich konnte das Buch nicht mehr weglegen. Auch der Switch zwischen Vergangenheit und dem jetzt hat mir einen guten Überblick gegeben. Man man man und auch die Backstories der Charaktere zu erleben hat mich einige Charaktere wirklich mehr mögen lassen. Man konnte mache Aktionen von ihnen viellll besser verstehen und auch allgemein ihren Charakter besser nachvollziehen. So geil man😭 (das Ende war einfach nur wunderschön man😭❤️) 100% eine Empfehlung, ein großes Lob an den Autor
I think I have officially found the best book of 2021. This was such an intriguing story from the start and I was hooked until the end of it. I enjoyed how the author vividly described the scenes and captured the characters in book without going overboard and making them seem pedantic. It was easy to relate to Betsy, Jesse, and Natasha; and the ending was something totally unexpected and for that I gave the book the highest rating.
