Charlie Jane Anders ist eine grossartige Persönlichkeit, aber ihre Bücher scheinen wohl nichts für mich zu sein. Ich hatte auch mit meinem zweiten Werk der Autorin Mühe, da ich mich in dieser Welt kaum zurechtfinden konnte und vor allem mir auch die Gelet nicht wirklich vorstellen konnte. Die Handlung hätte meiner Meinung nach besser in zwei oder drei Teile aufgeteilt werden sollen, damit den jeweiligen Plots mehr Aufmerksamkeit hätte gewidmet werden können. Auch Sophies Anhänglichkeit konnte ich ab einem gewissen Punkt nicht mehr verstehen. Jedoch hat das Buch eine starke Botschaft, die hochaktuell ist und in die Welt hinausgetragen werden soll. Dies hat mich immer wieder bewegt und mich zum Weiterlesen gebracht. Ausserdem hatte ich eine gewisse Faszination für Mouth entwickelt, die mit ihren eigenen Problemen zu kämpfen hat. Anders ist speziell, einzigartig, und genau deshalb bin ich auch weiterhin nicht abgeneigt, weitere ihrer Werke zu lesen.
