I LOVE THIS BOOK SOO MUCH! For anyone who's a little feminist, this book is perfect. It deals with sexism, bullying, abortion, nude pictures, rape, victim-blaming AND SHOWING PEOPLE TO FUCK OFF. I liked Anna, she wasn't a spoiled annoying brat, she really cared about her mom and was nice to Cat and Alisha. I was frustrated cause i wanted her to tell her mom about all of it so badly but on the other hand, i could understand thats she didn't wanna ruin their lives again. I FRICKIN LOVED HOW HER MOM SHOWED IT TO THE PRINCIPAL. THAT'S how it should be!! Why the hell would you blame the victim and punish her..SHE DID NOTHING WRONG! I also enjoyed the historical parts about Maggie and her story, it was similar to Anna's, which probably was the point, and i liked how Anna could kinda indentify herself with Maggie. Anna's curiosity resembled me cause i was curious as well and her eagerness to find out more..amazing. Laura Baten's writing style was nice, i almost never got bored, just once when Maggie's story was way too many pages but it wasn't a big deal. The end where she stands up to the bullies and actually the whole high school was pretty iconic but it wasn't thaaat realisitic. But i still liked how some people stood up for her to join her, that made me feel proud. Finally, i enjoyed Anna's and Robin's chemistry but Laura Baten didn't put that storyline above all others and made the book into a 80% love story which i totally admire because ..that main storyline with Anna's story, Maggie's, the bullying and sexism is so much more important than a little love interest (even though i ship them xbjskssj). Yeah that's it. I hope you enjoyed the book as much as I did.😄
