Eine emotionale Geschichte über mutige Frauen im Kampf gegen den Krebs
Das Cover was in freundlichen Farben gehalten ist, zeigt die vier Gründungsmitglieder des Bright-Side-Running-Club auf ihren Runden durch den Park. Was als nettes Cover zu sehen ist stellt sich als eine emotionale Achterbahnfahrt heraus. Diese Geschichte regt zum nachdenken an denn das Grundthema ist ernst - Brustkrebs. Josie Loyas Roman basiert auf eigenen Erfahrungen und das kann man auf jeder einzelnen Seite spüren. Die gesamte Geschichte ist sehr anschaulich und authentisch beschrieben (Handlung sowie Charaktere), was ich persönlich als super fesselnd empfand. Der Schreibstil ist flüssig und teilweise humorvoll, obwohl es sich natürlich um ein sehr schwieriges Thema handelt. Zum Inhalt möchte ich hier nichts vorweg nehmen aber dieser tolle Roman von mir definitiv eine Leseempfehlung! Taschentücher bereit halten ;)
